No one ever wants to say something stupid

Even writing posts for my feed I still wonder “Will anyone think I’m running on way too much caffeine?”

But the reality is, some of the best ideas often start out sounding crazy.

The challenge is creating a space where your team feels safe enough to say “I’m not sure if this makes sense, but…”

When we shut down ideas that aren’t fully formed, we lose opportunities to see them evolve into something transformative.

Instead, if we foster a culture where even the ‘silliest’ thoughts are met with curiosity, we create a platform for innovation.

I’ve seen firsthand how conversations that began with “This might be a bit off…” have led to new revenue streams, better ways of working or solutions to long-standing problems.

Support the ‘almost-ideas,’ encourage the bold suggestions and watch as those seemingly random thoughts become game changers.

Sometimes, the biggest wins start as the smallest whispers.

What does your team need to feel safe enough to share their craziest ideas?
