When does passion become a problem?

I love working with start-ups, the unique combination of optimism, pure terror and passion is energising.

But when does passion become a problem?

It’s when passion overshadows evidence-based decision-making. In the excitement to push forward, it’s easy to let enthusiasm cloud judgement, leading to decisions driven by emotion rather than data.

While passion fuels innovation, it must be balanced with a strategic approach grounded in research and facts.

Start-ups that prioritise evidence over impulse are the ones that ultimately thrive.

Passion is the spark, but evidence-based decision-making is the engine that drives sustainable growth.
