Every now and then, you get a piece of feedback that stops you in your tracks.


When a team member gave me this feedback, it really struck a chord.


It reaffirmed what I’ve always believed - our role as leaders goes far beyond just driving results or hitting targets. It’s about creating an environment where people feel empowered to grow, where they can find their voice and step into their potential.


Building a space where everyone feels heard and valued is the foundation of a strong team. It’s about fostering trust, encouraging collaboration, and making sure every idea has a chance to shine.


Bring a leader is a privilege, if you are a new leader its tempting to make it about yourself and while you should be proud of the responsibility you have been given, its no longer about you, its about them.


Focus on them, your career will become more rewarding thank you could have imagined.
